I see a lot of girls who daily blame themselves by steping on the scale, knowing it won't satisfy them. After tht they just over workout, increase dramatically their cardio routine or just diminish their food intake and that's just all bad so I thought it would be useful to talk about that.

First, what is really measured on a scale? the weight is "the force that gravitation exerts upon a body, equal to the mass of the body times the local acceleration of gravity: commonly taken, in a region of constant gravitational acceleration, as a measure of mass." So the weight simply shows you how much gravity affects your body. It should really be funny, doesn't it?

1- Always go naked. You don't want those 4 extra lbs of clothes to show right?

2- Commit to a certain day and time to record the number on the scale. You can't possibly compare your saturday night weight to your middle week weight!

3- Keep in mind that it's just a number expressing how attracted you are to Earth and it certainly doesn't define you neither your value!!

4- 2 people with totally different bodies could show the same weight so don't compare yourself to others. The scale you bought at Walmart doesn't know the difference between your muscles and fat.

5- Don't ever step on the scale after a cheatmeal or a cheatday. What would you do that for? Don't blame yourself for stagnating fluids and bad digestion.

6- If you get almost anxious when thinking about stepping on the scale, then don't!! Try other ways such as measurements and calipers if your stressed about numbers!
