TGIF!! What a relief when the week comes to an end and you know you have the whole week end to chill? Well just two hours of class left and I'll know that feeling again ♥

Today I want to write about hair as it is a major concern for a girl like me. You want it to be soft and shiny, yet not oily. Most of us have a thing for changing their hair color, and the blowdryer, the hairstraightener are our best friend.
But, as the chocolate in the kitchen, our dear friends are not that good to us. After years of straightening my hair and dying it black, I ended up with very dry, breaking hair. It took me a loooong time (2 years) to have my shiny hair back without having it chopped!

And as I'm sure I'm not the only one who has had bad hair experiences, I wanted to share with you my tips to have your wonderful hair back !!

1- From now on, you'll have to buy the shampoo and the conditionner. Your hair is so thirsty you have to give it what it needs!! Also, try to switch the brands quite everytime you need a new bottle of shampoo. Indeed, every brand is different even if they claim the same results, they work quite differently. Your hair won't be deprived of any nutrients it needs and if you don't see the difference, be sure your mane will!

2- Invest in a good mask such as the Redken Deep Facets or Extreme Strength Builder and use it at least 2 times a week. Apply on wet hair for about 10 minutes. For better results, you can apply the mask before bed and rince in the morning once a week.

3- Don't be afraid of oil. If your hair ends are highly damage, then put it on the ends and after a few inutes your hair will be back to normal ( aNd way softer). Never ever put it on the roots. The roots are brand new hair that don't need oil as the sebum protects it.

4-  Don't dye your hair as much as you used to . Try to dye your hair every 3-4 months and if you dye it blond, try to only bleach the roots.

5- Forget the blowdryer everytime you can. Indeed it dries the hair so much that, if you don't have the good products to compensate, your hair will slowly lose its shine and softness.

6- Try to replace hair coloring products by henna. It does offer a lot of option when it comes to the color you want, plus it doesn't damage the hair and it even gives them an extra boost!!
